Color guide and seasonal highlights
Coulor guide AW24/25

Our collection is growing, so we're introducing a few improvements to help you navigate it more easily. Below, you'll find a brief guide summarizing the key points and changes in color names for 2024.

.YARN TYPES.

Let’s start with .FAMILIES., which are groups of products categorized by the type of yarn used. Currently, in .KOPYTO., we have three .FAMILIES. of yarns:

  • .KLASYKI. 100% merino RWS, combed yarn, smooth, with the shortest hair.
  • .PLUSZAKI. 100% merino RWS, carded yarn, with slightly longer hair for a plush texture (a delicate fluff on the surface).
  • .PUCHACZE. 51% merino, 49% combed cotton, the thickest yarn with the longest hair, making the accessories super soft and fluffy.

The type of yarn also affects pilling potential, which is the natural process of forming tiny balls on accessories. The longer the merino wool fibers, the more prone it is to pilling, so you may need to shave your hat or clothing more often to maintain its pristine look. If you're after low-maintenance wool, go for .KLASYKI.; if you don’t mind using a fabric shaver, the other families are also great choices :)

.COLORS.

Since .FAMILIES. are made from different types of yarn, the colors of the models may differ slightly. We aim to unify everything.

From now on, each color name will correspond to the same shade of yarn, even if the products come from different .FAMILIES.

.COLOR NAME CHANGES.

These changes in color names help unify our offering and make it easier for you to choose. If you have last year’s .WOLF. in caramel and this season you want a matching scarf, go for .OPOSSUM. in walnut.

Here's how to decode the 2024 color name changes. Discover all the new names:

KLASYKI

  • caramel → walnut
  • pink → raspberry
  • beige → light beige
  • orange → muted orange

All changes are reflected in the graphic design below and in a short video where you can see the shades we're talking about on our Instagram. This year, you’ll also find a comparison of similar colors there, showing how they look side by side and how they differ depending on the type of yarn.
