Not Fjords, but the Beskids – .BARIBAL BESKIDZKI.

The rhythm of nature we follow
For centuries, wool and flax have been part of life in the Beskids. Every family grew flax and raised sheep. These raw materials were spun into yarn and then made into fabrics – the foundation of clothing and household textiles. Linen cloth was used for bedding, towels and garments decorated with traditional cross-stitch embroidery.

Wool provided warmth and was used to make winter clothing, as well as knitted gloves and “kopytka” – thick socks worn with kyrpce, traditional mountain shoes. These skills and patterns were passed down from generation to generation.
Nature cannot be separated from tradition, nor tradition from nature. With respect for the history that became the inspiration for this project, we give you a sweater that carries a part of both.
